Can we talk for a moment about how this is a weird and somewhat pathetic rip off of Heinrich Böll’s famous short story; Anekdote zur Senkung der Arbeitsmoral?
The internet does many great things - facillitating unbridled cultural appropriation is not one of them. In this case the appropriation takes the form of literally taking a classic piece of post-war German literature, translating it, dumbing it down, repackaging it for its new audience (Americans) and slapping a new title above it. Oh and then throwing some indistinct double racism in there for good measure.
The real kicker is the ‘Author Unknown’ tag at the bottom.
